Massage Therapy Equipment: Choosing The Right Accessories

The massage therapy equipment you chose is dependent upon what is important to you and to your clients.  Massage therapy equipment encompasses a mass variety of products and items to provide hours of relaxation.  It is up to you to decide what is important to you, and whether it is the best value for the investment you are making.  In making a selection, you need to determine if your needs are portable or if they are stationary.  If you are providing massage therapy services, your equipment will need to match the services.

One brand that is synonymous with massage therapy equipment and quality is Earthlite.  Earthlite provides portable massage tables, stationary tables, massage chairs, salon tables.  Earthlite uses the highest quality of materials, detailed design, and the careful construction to provide the best in massage tables and other equipment at affordable prices.  All of the Earthlite tables have time-proven design and engineering that has made Earthlite the leader in this industry.  When purchasing a table, you will also need to consider the accessories, such as armrests, bolsters, carrying cases, and carts.  Along with those accessories you want to consider massagers, towels, and table warmers.

If you are providing the massage service, you may also want to consider what will make your work simpler and convenient for you.  Bolsters are available to provide you with the ease of carrying oils and lotions with you as your work.  If a bolster is not for you, then you may want to consider a trolley or cart that carries the lotions and oils and any other massage equipment, such as extra towels, tables and/or towel warmers.  Other accessories to consider is to either add to or begin a collection of massage media, and perhaps incorporate aromatherapy into the massage experience since massage therapy should be the total body experience touching each of the senses.  Not only are accessories needed for the equipment you choose but perhaps you will also want to consider expanding your services.  In addition to providing a massage, you may consider purchasing stones for heated stone therapy massage.

If you provide massage services, such as on-site treatment in offices or malls, you will need to think of selecting a massage chair.  The options for selecting a massage chair are standalone and desktop.  Earthlite also designed the Vortex portable chair package, which includes the massage chair, sternum pad, and carry case.  The Avila II which is also designed by Earthlite includes a portable massage table.  The main concern when selecting a massage chair is whether it is ergonomically designed for proper alignment and comfort.

When choosing massage therapy equipment, you are considering how you are setting up a business and what services you will provide.  From there, you will then consider what equipment you will need in order to provide the services you offer.  When you provide a massage therapy service to your clients, you are providing them with a total body experience.  So how you paint that canvas is instrumental.  You want their experience to be enjoyable, relaxing, comforting and one that they will want to return to you time and time again.
